SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ– The South Brunswick Police Department will be holding a prescription drug take-back day on Oct. 22. The day is a part of the DEA’s national initiative to safely collect and dispose of old, expired or unneeded prescriptions.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back’s provide residents with a way to reliably dispose of prescription drugs, as well as providing education on the potential for prescription abuse.

You can only drop off medications prescribed to you or a member of your household that was obtained legally. Liquid medications and medical syringes cannot be collected.

Drop off will be held between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at the South Brunswick Police Department (540 Ridge Road).
